Licorice

This is my box, it's an Optiplex 5070 SFF. Not the best in the world, but it's the best hardware I have.

Because I can't port forward, I used a cheap IONOS VPS and Tailscale to gateway ports 80 (HTTP), 443 (HTTPS), and 3478 (TURN), so hello world from Licorice!

• 24GB RAM
• AX200 Wi-Fi card
• Ethernet connected
• 256GB SATA SSD
• 512GB NVMe
• 2x 1TB HDD

Purpose

Licorice is currently responsible for:

• Transcoding videos for PeerTube
• Running workflows for Forgejo
• Hosting Discuss Swee
• Running some services shown in /services

To-Do

• Buy more RAM
• Buy more storage
• Get a GPU
• Get a 3.5" SATA caddy so the HDD can fit properly (or use an HDD enclosure)
• Setup LUKS on the HDD
• Find the second HDD (And get another HDD enclosure)
• Get SMA to MHF4 adapter, this will probably do
• Replace the NVMe already inside the PC (I don't know if my family still wants the files in it)
