Licorice

This is my box, it's an Optiplex 5070 SFF. Not the best in the world, but it's the best hardware I have.

Because I can't port forward, I used a cheap IONOS VPS and Tailscale to gateway ports 80 and 443, so hello world from Licorice!

• 256GB SATA SSD
• 512GB NVMe
• 1TB HDD

Purpose

Licorice is currently being used for the following:

• Transcoding videos in PeerTube
• Running workflows in Forgejo
• Hosting redis for Forgejo
• Hosting redis for Nextcloud
• Providing Nextcloud Office tools
• Recording Nextcloud Talk sessions when one wants to
• Running Nextcloud Talk High Performance Backend
• Running some services shown in /services

To-Do

• Buy more RAM
• Buy more storage
• Get a GPU
• (Possibly?) a CPU upgrade
• Get a 3.5" SATA caddy so the HDD can fit properly (or use an HDD enclosure)
• Get SMA to MHF4 adapter, this will probably do
• Replace the NVMe already inside the PC (I don't know if my family still wants the files in it)
